Building bridges since 2010

What’s good for India is
good for Washington

WASITRAC connects Washington State businesses with partners, markets and investment opportunities across India — from advanced technology and aerospace to agriculture, renewable energy and infrastructure.

Our Mission

Bridges between Washington State and India

Our mission is to build bridges between Washington State and its citizens and their counterparts in India — beginning with sister-state relationships between Washington and the Indian states of Odisha, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Punjab, Haryana and Gujarat.

We concentrate primarily, though not exclusively, on infrastructure development, renewable energy, education and social services. By respecting the diversity of both cultures, we create a solid platform for collaboration between businesses — and real, lasting value for everyone we serve.

With each passing year the ties between India and Washington State grow stronger. The technology corridor of Western Washington is home to a large and growing community of India-born engineers, entrepreneurs and their families — and that human connection is the foundation everything else is built on.

What We Do

Three ways we open doors

Whether you are a Washington company looking east or an Indian enterprise looking to the Pacific Northwest, the first step is the same: the right introduction, at the right moment.

1

Bring people together

Knowing the right person to connect with overseas can be the difference between a small or medium-sized business stalling and thriving. We make those connections.

2

Share information

In a fast-changing world, information is the key to success. Having the right information clears the path, so you can focus on trade.

3

Grow your trade

India’s fast-growing market is an ideal partner for Washington State companies. Both economies span agriculture through advanced technology, making it a natural fit.
